Sometimes you’ll find yourself doubting your own blogging ability. For me it doesn’t come naturally. But I know the juice is worth the squeeze. This blog was setup on a subdomain roughly two weeks ago. As a result I’m still in the Sandbox. And yes I do believe it exists. I’ve managed to make on average two posts a day. That’s pretty good going for someone who works most of the day. Lunch breaks and afternoons are my solice. Some people are good at writing, others aren’t. For those of you that aren’t natural born writers, you may have one way to keep up with the rest of the blogging world.

Patience.

Things wont happen overnight. You aren’t going to get explosions in traffic, especially if you are still in the sandbox, but let it out, let your readers know you are going to keep them entertained regardless. You have an underlying will to succeed, and realise that if you keep going at the pace you are going, that in a years time you’ll be looking back at your first posts with a smile on your face. Its a learning curve. Just as with web development, you look back at code you wrote and think how ugly it was, blogging is the same. You’ll learn to tag more frequently and properly, you’ll learn to write killer headlines to bring them in from the SERPs and most of all you’ll have more ideas about what turns your visitors on.

So chin up chaps. Keep ‘er lit .
