It appears the blogosphere has noticed a bit of tension between these two chaps. If you don’t have a baldy notion who Im on about, Matt Cutts is a Google Engineer, and has become a public speaking Google guy over the past couple of years. Aaron Wall is a well known author of Search engine optimisation advice and runs seobook.com. Anyway over the past while Aaron has been a tad anti-Google. Matt has risen to this, and as a result, Aaron has received more links, more exposure, more authority and ultimately achieved something through his posts. Which is what we all should be trying to do. Getting your ears burned over at the big G, has a positive effect it seems, especially if your blog is high traffic.

It appears that once you achieve a certain status within the blogging community, you can use your influence to achieve notoriety, and the “I don’t need Google” effect will come into play. i.e. Suckle on the nipple of search until you can stand on your own two feet, then gob on it.

A bit like a spoiled teenager..Wouldn’t you say?

So then. Who’d win the fisty cuffs battle? And the winner is…
