I’m planning on adding support for a few other databases once I get a few sales sorted for the SQL Server version. I’ve been looking at the Pro version of LLBGen, which generated part of the data access layer for Publish, should be a useful tool to hold onto for the future. Incidently, I started out using NHibernate, partly as a learning process for myself, partly to get around writing two versions of the system for different database models. Don’t even think of going down the NHibernate road, I had nothing but problems with it from a shared server perspective, it simply requires too many permissions at the minute to be anyway useful. If anyone wants the NHibernate sample project, with source code I might be able to send it to you for free. Drop me a comment.
