Maybe it’s the time of year, but I’ve got very contemplative and restless recently. I know its not new years just yet but I’ve decided to create a 2009 to-do chart. Hey - if you don’t set target’s you’ll never reach any goals. So in no particular order, here’s what I want to achieve in 2009. Some of them are more geeky goals, some of them life goals. No matter. Here we go. I might make this a stick post to help remind me of each of these, and check them off as they happen (hopefully). Maybe a printable version would be a kick in the arse too. I’ll ammend this post when things are achieved. I’m tagging this post #2009GOALS if you want to twitter it, or post your own. Be nice to see a few other people’s goals for 2009.
1) Generate £500 a month online. Through whatever means necessary. Online software sales looks like a good start. Maybe supplemented with advertising.
2) Reach 500 RSS subscribers on my blog. The feed is over here if you want to help with that one.
3) Get my new design finished off, coded and launched. Maybe get that done over Christmas. I really want to polish this one until I’m 100% happy with it.
4) Get the collaborative photo blog launched / off the ground with Phil.
5) Get learning more about photography. Santa is bringing a digital SLR this year, so that is a good start

7) Learn Ruby on Rails

25) Open a savings account. (And contribute to it)
26) Take a holiday
27) Reach at least 50 posts on Just-Launched.com

29) Pick up the saxophone again. Learn something. Buy some reeds for said instrument.

31) Sort out my pension scheme. Find out how much is in it, and setup direct debit to it
32) Feel more awake / less tired
33) Start each day at 6.00 a.m
34) Post this to 43 things
35) Get an IPhone

Phil
Bravo, Paul! It looks great, and your style is clearly coming across more than ever. Good luck with your 34 remaining goals, but with #21, maybe you’ll find a way to let the Colonel down easy.
